Attorney Brian C. Fournier has practiced law for over twenty five years. Building on over ten years of practice with two respected Southern Connecticut law firms, Attorney Fournier launched the New Haven office of the Fournier Law Firm in the fall of 2006 and the Waterbury office of the firm in 2011.

Attorney Fournier is a graduate of Boston College, Class of 1992. He earned his law degree from the Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America in 1995. Following law school, Attorney Fournier clerked at the Connecticut Superior Court in New Haven.

Attorney Fournier’s experience includes real estate and commercial transactions, product liability law, consumer class actions, complex commercial and personal injury litigation and white-collar criminal defense cases.

Attorney Fournier has represented members in class actions against Ford, Firestone and General Electric and has extensive experience representing individuals who have been harmed by defective prescription and over-the-counter drugs and exposure to asbestos and lead paint.

Attorney Fournier has appeared before both Federal and State Courts. He has also represented clients in the United States Bankruptcy Court and in numerous Probate Courts throughout Connecticut. Attorney Fournier has lectured at Southern Connecticut State University as well as at a national conference in Florida.

Attorney Fournier is admitted to the bars of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, California and New York. He is a member of the Federal District Courts for the District of Connecticut, the District of Rhode Island and the Northern District of California. Attorney Fournier is also a member of the Connecticut as well as the American, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Haven County Bar Associations, and an active member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.

Attorney Fournier enjoys service to the community in both elected and appointed capacities in town government and community organizations. While living in the town of Orange, he was as an elected member of the Orange Board of Education, and served as the head of the Board’s Building Committee, a member of the Personnel Committee, and a member of the Orange Board of Assessment Appeals, as well as the Orange Rotary Club of Rotary International, serving on the Board of Directors of the Orange Club. Now living in the town of Bethany, Connecticut, Attorney Fournier is a member of the Bethany Lions Club of Lions Clubs International, and served as president of the Bethany Club in 2012-13. He served on the Bethany Board of Education for six years, serving as the Chairman of the Bethany Board of Education for five years of those years.
