Attorney Brian C. Fournier awarded National Certification in Child Welfare Law

Attorney Brian C. Fournier is one of sixteen attorneys in the State of Connecticut and only seventy-six attorneys nationwide to earn certification in the specialty of juvenile law in 2011. The certification was awarded to Attorney Fournier at the National Association of Counsel for Children (NACC) national conference in August 2011.

The Certification in Child Welfare Law is a program of the National Association of Counsel for Children. The Certification has extensive application and testing requirements, including substantial involvement in the practice of child welfare law for a minimum of three years, continuing legal education in child welfare law, satisfactory peer reviews including those of a judge, and passage of the national child welfare law exam.
